Storage-to-Go
I love finding cute storage items to hold all my craft tools. What I don't like is having to pack up all my supplies and tools when I want to take my projects with me. So , now I just pack the entire container. My desktop is now portable. I simply place each tin into my craft tote, then when I arrive at my destination, I can arrange my table as if I were at home. I bought all of these tins at Target in the $1 spot last spring. They seem to have them every year, so be on the lookout.

Clutter Crew
I've embarked on Peter Walsh's Clutter Crew. I'm driving my family insane and am now on a first name basis with the employees at Goodwill. Each week, I drop off more bags of "Stuff" Not sure where it all came from. Most of it came from the kids closets, I think. Hard to imagaine that such a small space can hold so much. Today I managed to get my DH to go through some things in our spare closet. He was willing to say good-bye to a shirt with the date 2000. It is safe to say that he hasn't worn it since the year 2000. It had the dust to prove it.
So, if you are in the market for old outdated men's shirts, oak picture frames, or just some memorabillia of mine, stop by the R.P. Goodwill this week

Ribbon
Is it possible to have too much ribbon? I am beginning to think so, only because I just can't seem to find the right way to organize it. I currently have three ribbon organizational systems in my scraproom. I have my 8 ribbon boxes- which I really like how they look with all the pretty
ribbons hanging out. I have the Ribbon Ring found at http://www.ribbonring.com/, and I have my Ribbon Tote.
I know there are other methods to this maddness of ribbon, such as Ribbon Jars, and Ribbon Cards, I just haven't tried these.

Re-Organizng
I am on a mission to reorganize my scraproom. I've been at it little by little for the past week. My biggest challenge is all that paper. I have 9 cropper Hopper vertical paper holders full of paper. Plus, I had a stack of stacks and slabs. No more buying of those big packs of paper. I started sorting through all of them and pulled out all the paper I knew I would NEVER use. I have an enormous pile of ugly paper.
Cardstock- Is it possible to have too much. My friend Karen said I do. I have 3 CH's full of cardstock, plus a huge pile that just wouldn't fit.
Magazines-I sorted though all my old magazines, I'd been saving for the past 8 years and purged most of them. I've decide I will no long subscribe to CK I don't want to read adds. My two favorites are Paper Crafts and Scrapbook Etc. I still subscribe to them, for the time being anyway.
I have made a pact with myself that I will not buy anymore supplies until I have used up a chunk of what I have. I really don't need anything, but maybe some adhesive down the road. My next big goal will be, picture organization, but I can't start that until I finish the rest of my room. I'd love to hear how others are organizing.

Organizing Chipboard
Well, if you are like me, you have quite a collection of chipboard alphabet letters. I love all the shape, sizes and colors. I got tired of digging through zip-locks, so I created this. Using a Snap-ware ornament organizer, I placed fun foam squares at the bottom of each individual swauare. This keeps the chipboard from shifting among each section. I also covered each of the cardbaord inserts then cut out the slits. I love that I can add another layer or two of the snap-ware. I bought an extra one just for that reason. I can take it with me scrappin and it slides right under my desk.

Paper Scraps
How do you store your paper scraps? I keep mine in 2 expandable file folders. The paper is sorted by colors. I keep the pattern and solids together. I like being able to just grab the folder, open it up and find a scrap of paper in the size I need.
